Herfoss managed to hold second place to the line over Wyman, who saw his five-race Daytona streak come to an end, with his teammate Bradley Smith taking fourth ahead of the third factory Harley of James Rispoli. Gillim looked to make it a clean sweep of Daytona in race two and was well clear until his Indian suffered a mechanical problem with three laps to go. It looked as though the number 69 would pull into the pits, but he instead decided to keep go - ing in the hopes of taking any championship points. He did so, coming home in ninth for seven points. be a closer-fought affair than in 2025, with Indian Motorcycle now partnering with former nemesis Vance & Hines to eke a lot more speed out of the Indian Motorcycle Challenger platform.
