put him fifth overall.
"It was just a bad situation and
bad timing," Roczen said about
the crash. "And what a waste for
me. This could've been a good
night. I felt like I rode well and
did everything right, but those
couple of seconds right thereā¦
I'm pretty bummed."
Jorge Prado returned to
action for sixth overall, ahead
of Malcolm Stewart, Christian
Craig, Joey Savatgy and Shane
McElrath.
250SX East
The Cole Davies we expected
finally arrived in Indianapolis.
The young Star Racing Yamaha
rider came into this season
picked as a heavy favorite but
has yet to really break out. He
dominated the night in Indy
with a clean sweep of all three
main events, going 1-1-1 for the
overall win. Davies' speed in the
whoops proved insurmountable
for the rest of the competition
as he blitzed the field in each of
the three races. This marks his
third career win as he jumps to
the top of the 250SX East points
chase, just one point up on sec
-
ond place.
"I
guess I was just too ex-
cited," Davies said. "I just let
the race
come to me and made
some passes in every race. I'm
just stoked. It's a bit of a relief
now. I've been pissed off at all
the rounds, getting beat, and I
don't do well with that. It's good
to come back and have a good
Triple Crown."
