O'Dor led through the first
hour of the race before Nich

olson's team passed into the
lead,
where they'd hold the lead
position to the checkers. Riding
a smooth and comfortable pace
in the treacherous conditions
that were on tap at Glen Helen,
Nicholson and Dunn navigated
the dust, slippery hard base, and
lapped traffic the best to claim
the overall and Open AA win by
three and a half minutes over
Shane O'Dor's Open Intermedi
-
ate team. Behind O'Dor, Stover's
Reezen Racing
GasGas team
finished third overall and second
Open Intermediate, followed by
Troy Armstrong (first 30+ Expert)
and Max Lieberman, rounding
out the top five overall.
There were quite a few brave
racers who endured the heat and
wind on race day, but 48 of them
braved the trying conditions solo
in the Ironman class. The tough
-
est of them all was TJ Durst who
completed 23
laps in six hours
to finish 11th overall. Maddy
Weber raced her KTM 250 to
second in the Ironman class with
22 laps and finished 20th overall.
Oskar Kristjansson rounded out
the Ironman podium with 21 laps
and a 22nd overall finish to boot.
In the Minis, Bad Larry Jr's
team won the 85cc Mini class,
finishing with 17 laps in 35th
overall. Aubree Mitchell's team
won the 65cc class with 10 laps
to their credit.

Expert division and finished
eighth overall. Other notable re-

team winning
the 30+ Novice/Be-
ginner class, Dirt Bike Magazine's
