ROUND 8 / FEBRUARY 28, 2026 DAYTONA INTERNATIONAL SPEEDWAY | DAYTONA BEACH, FLORIDA SUPERCROSS I MONSTER ENERGY AMA SUPERCROSS / SUPERMOTOCROSS WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP P72 36 GARRETT MARCH- BANKS 7TH 450SX Monster Energy Kawasaki fac- tory team rider Garrett Marchbanks enjoyed his best finish ever in the 450SX class with a hard-earned seventh. "I'm happy with how the day turned out," Marchbanks said. "I rode consistent laps all day through qualifying and the heat race, plus my starts were much better. I was happy I was able to put laps together for the whole 20 minutes in the main event and be in the mix with everyone." 35 DREW ADAMS 22ND 250SX EAST Drew Adams looked to be having a career-best day with the fastest quali- fier and a heat-race win. He ran up front in the main but later crashed and did not finish. "No excuses; I just got to be better," Adams said. "I was so pumped to race my first pro Daytona Supercross. The fans were unreal. I had good starts all night, was fastest in qualifying, won my heat, and ran up front in the main. With five laps to go, I made a mistake and went down hard. Congrats to my training partner and teammate Seth Hammaker on the win; well deserved." Unfortunately, MYOWNRACE Eli Tomac's aggressive passes put him up front and in position for another win. Here, he slams the door on Hunter Lawrence for second place. Tomac broke his own record with eight career Daytona Supercross wins.
