first time. As the Monster
Energy AMA Supercross
approaches its halfway point in
2026, many riders are still seeking
their first win of the season or their
career. AT&T Stadium in Arling
-
ton, Texas, hosted round seven of
the 2026 SuperMotocross World
Championship, which coincided
with this year's Military Apprecia
-
tion Night and the opening round
for the 250SX East division. Battles
broke out at every gate drop, but it
was two first-timers, Hunter Law
-
rence and Pierce Brown, who stood
out in the Lone Star State.
450SX
Lawrence has arrived. Even with
two SMX playoff wins, the current
450SX points leader has never
won a regular-season AMA 450SX
main event. That all changed on
Saturday night as the Honda HRC
Progressive rider finally got the job
done after 26 long laps.
"It's cool, but we've got a lot of
racing left," Lawrence said. "I'm
happy to tick that little box."
Lawrence stalked Ken Roczen for
nearly the entire race and made mul
-
tiple attempts to take the race lead.
The two came dangerously close
more than once, but both stayed
upright as the fight continued. Law-
rence's line through the rhythm lane
allowed him to overtake Roczen and
gain a small gap as the rest of the

Hunter Lawrence finally earned
his first-ever 450SX main-
event victory.
