Bolt Perfect in Serbia
T
he FIM SuperEnduro World
Championship held its
first-ever GP of Serbia with
Husqvarna Factory Racing's Billy
Bolt racing to victory in front of
10,000 spectators in Belgrade.
Continuing his unbeaten run
of form, Bolt moved closer to
securing his sixth world title by
claiming maximum points.
Remaining unbeaten in
SuperPole, Bolt collected his
fifth fastest time of the 2025-26
season in Serbia. Quickest in the
morning's timed practice, Bolt
was the final rider to take to the
track for SuperPole and looked
to better the benchmark set by
Triumph Factory Racing Enduro
Team's Jonny Walker. A brilliant
lap by the Husqvarna rider saw
him edge out Walker in second
by a sizeable 1.3 seconds. With
Walker second, it was the Stark
Future duo of Eddie Karlsson
and Toby Martyn who finished
third and fourth, respectively.
Making their respective returns
to racing, X-Grip Racing GasGas'
Ashton Brightmore took fifth,
with Red Bull KTM Factory Rac-
ing's Manuel Lettenbichler sixth.
A final-corner crash knocked
X-Grip Racing GasGas' Mitch
Brightmore down to seventh.
Immediately making amends
for his SuperPole crash, Mitch
Brightmore grabbed the hole-
shot for Prestige final one. With
Mitch Brightmore holding the
lead on lap one, Walker, Martyn,
Karlsson and Bolt all jostled for
position. A charge by Bolt moved
him into second before jumping
past Mitch Brightmore in the rock
garden to take the lead. Building a
comfortable advantage, Bolt saw
his work undone with a crash with
one minute and one lap to go.
Remounting with his lead intact,
he held enough breathing room to
continue on and win. Behind him,
Mitch Brightmore held off attacks
from Walker and Martyn to claim
second. With Walker third, Martyn
placed an impressive fourth, with
Karlsson fifth.
