In 1999, Australian Shane Watts
"shocked" the o-road world
when he overtook a stacked field
of racers at the opening GNCC
round in Okeechobee, Florida, on
a 125. Even more impressive was
that the KTM rider also won on a
sandy course that usually favors
higher-horsepower bikes.
