I looked up, and I saw Michael Mosiman in front of me, and I knew I could make up another position since rider began clicking off a series of fast laps en route to the front. Kitchen was the fastest rider on track for more than half of the total laps. A few aggressive passes late in the race rewarded him with second place overall, but he was too far to make a run for the lead. "I can't be doing that when Deegan is doing everything right," Kitchen said. "Track posi - tion is really important, and I didn't help myself there, but I feel good. I've just got to keep working and keep fighting." Cameron McAdoo put himself on the box again in third place, making it two Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasakis on the podium. McAdoo found himself in a battle for the entire race, first duking it out with Ryder DiFrancesco and later having his hands full with Mosiman and Kitchen. He picked up the pace late in the moto and set the fastest two laps leading up to the finish. This speed allowed him to pass Mosiman for third and earned him his third podium of the year. McAdoo sits fifth in points and leads his teammate Kitchen by one point. "I got passed back to fourth on the first lap due to a line choice," McAdoo said.
