FORKNER UPDATE
Austin Forkner suffered a big
crash on Friday's press day and
did not line up on Saturday.
"Austin crashed on Friday and
fractured a bone in his left hand,
so he will be evaluated on Mon-
day," said team manager Steve
Westfall. Forkner posted a photo
on social media with bruising on
his face and a wrap on his hand.

Twenty-one of the best SMX
Next racers took to the track for
the second week in a row. Last
week's winner, Kayden Minear,
was absent from the main after
he crashed during qualifying
and had to sit out. Monster
Energy Kawasaki Team Green's
Vincent Wey started strong in
the eight-minute-plus-one-lap
race but was quickly overtaken
by Triumph Factory Racing's
Deacon Denno. Denno, a Texas
native, led several laps before
being passed by Monster Energy
Yamaha Star Racing's Caden
Dudney. Dudney, who finished
second last week, improved in
Texas with an impressive win in
front of his hometown crowd.
Denno finished second, with
Landen Gordon taking third after
