A late-race fall in the sand for Webb allowed Ander- son to retake fourth position, and the two finished less than a second apart at the line. "To be out front and to be able to run that pace and not feel too uncomfortable running that pace was nice," Anderson said. "I think I'm older, so there are a lot of times where I'm not thread- ing the needle as much, and I'm just checking up, but at the same time, I'm just focusing on trying to make my own progress." Joey Savatgy finished sixth ahead of Jorge Prado and Ken to start the season, the number three still holds the points lead by eight over Lawrence.
