SMX Announces 2026
Playoff Venues
A
t the Anaheim 1 season opener
for the Monster Energy SMX
World Championship, the SMX League
announced the dates and locations of
the three SMX Playoff rounds, which
are set to take place later this year
after the final round of the AMA Pro
Motocross Championship.
The Historic Crew Stadium in
Columbus, Ohio, will serve as the first
round of the Playoffs before travel

ing to Dignity Health Sports Park in
Carson, California, for round two.
Finally, the Thunder Ridge Nature
Arena in Ridgedale, Missouri, will host
the 2026 SMX World Championship
finale in September and will produce
the next overall 2026 SMX World
Champion.
Honda HRC's Jett Lawrence is the
defending, three-time SMX Champion.
Although he'll sit out most, if not all, of
the AMA Monster Energy Supercross
Championship, he still has a good
chance to qualify for the Playoffs and
defend the number-one plate.
The Ohio round sits at the heart
of the Midwest and is a short dis
-
tance from the AMA Motorcycle Hall
of Fame in the Columbus suburb of
Pickerington. It is also a few hours
away from the location of SMX round
14 in Cleveland. Round two in Carson,
California, is just outside Los Angeles,
and Dignity Health Sports Park brings

long-standing connection to the sport
and a strong industry presence. The
World Championship final at Thunder

souri, coincides with a larger partner-
ship between the SMX League and
Bass Pro Shops.
