When practice started, the racecourse was perfect, but iust before the filst gate dropped, the rain came - not a total downpour, bLit just enouth to make it interestint. Bromley Suzuki's Barry Carten led the start ofthe first l2Scc Pro/Expen moto but Save up the point position to Jeremy Cook after the second turn. Hichael Gesso, Michael Stryker and Jay Weller rounded out the top five. Just after startinS lap two, Weller passed Stryker for fourth. On the next lap, Weller 8ot around Gesso with a block-pass to secu.e third. lleanwhile, Cook continued to lead with a two-second advantage on Carsten in second. On lap frve. Weller passed Carsten for second. Weller tried to chase down Cook but ran out of time. Cook won by a slim two-second margin. Weller, Carsten, Gesso and Stryker rounded our the top five. Carcten, Weller, Gesso and Ronnie Stewart led the start of the linal moto. Gesso passed Carsren early on the llrst lap, rakint the lead. Weller, Stewart and Stryker rounded out the top llve. The top three were only a second apart. On lap four, Gesso stalled his Suzook and.ouldn'! reli8ht it. Carsten, weller, Stewart, Cook and Stryker all advanced. Carsten and Weller battled for the lead for t}le nert two lapi. On lap six, Carsten cross-runed, and Weller capitalized. Weller won by two seconds. Carsten, Cook, Stevrart and Stryker rounded out the top five, Weller (2-l) topped the podium. and Cook (l-3) and Ca6ten (3-2) closed out the box. Carsten now hads the l25cc Prc,/Expert points byone overJayWeller with one round remaininS. CaBten, PIotB, Witmer, Weller and Cook led the start oI the final moto. Weller and Cook passed Witmer at the end of lap one, relegating him to fifth. Carsren made a mistake that cosr him the lead; Plotts took over the poinr, but Carsten came back and retook th€ position with a lap and a half to go. Carsten 8ot the win with a three-second lead. Plotts, Cook, Witmer and Mark Wundrack rounded out the top five. Carsten topped the podium with a 2- l tally. Cook's l-3 score was good enough for runner-up, and Plotts
