I ) The Sturgis Motorcycle Museum & Hall of Fame will exhibit three of the four motorcycles featured on the new 'iAmerican Motorc,,cle" postage stamp series during the 2006 Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. The three motorcycles depicted on the stamps - a l9l8 Cleveland, 1940 Indian Four and a 1955 Harley- Davldson Electra-Glide - are owned and ridden by members of the Antique Motorcycle Club of America . The founh stamp, a drawing of a 1970s chopper was crcated by an artist and will not be included in the Muse- um exhibit. "How appropriate to have the actual motorcycles fea- tured on the stamps on exhibit here," said executive dir€ctor Pepper Massey-Swan. "The motorcycles depicted are an enduring part o( our nation't hlstory and relate specifically to our mission to preserve the great history of motorclclin8." Also appro- p.iate is the fact that the building where the Museum is located was bullt in 1937 and in its previous life was t}le old Sturgis Post Orfice.
