Seres,
Team
FMF Suzuki Off-Road's
Ryan Hughes refus-
es to
give
anything
less than his best
-
even
when
he's not at his best.
For example,
at round
six,
presented
by
Rekluse,
Hughes fouSht what
was an
inter-
nal battle when dehydration
began
to over-
come
him during
the last half of the two-
hour
race at the Clay Peak
Motocross
Park.
'About
the
halfway
point
I started
Setting
a
little lightheaded,
and I tried to
8et
some
water
in me, but if
I'm not hydrated
from
yesterday, it's kind of
too little. too late,"
he
said.
"But
that's learning. lstill
won feeling
like crap, so l'm
happy. lhave
a s2-Point
lead
lthanks
to]
four wins out of six
races so
it's
good.
"l'm
not
going to let these
guys
beat me.
lf they beat
me,
they're
going
to
have to
work
for it and work really
hard
for it.
That's what Suzuki
pays me to do, is to win,
and
lwant to
win this championship
and
carrr
that on into next
year"
Zip-Ty Racing's
Bobby
Garrison ended up
holding second
place
for
practically the
entire
race, with Carter
Powersports
rider
Ricky Dietrich doing
likewise
for third.
When the
Pros left the line and
headed
up the
long, steep uphill
start,
Team FMF
Suzuki Off-Road's
Mike Kiedrowski
got a
great
iump
and led the
pack
as they
hit
the
first turn, with
Garrison
and Hughes
at his flanks.
