campaign,
Pearson's luck.
however,
has since
made a 180-degree
turn, having
gone from downright bad to
pretty
darn
good.
After the fourth round.
Pearson found himself
with a
tough hill
to climb - having to
win the remaining
three
rounds to win the
championship.
Pearson now finds
him-
self
two-thirds
of the way closer to
his third Hare &
Hound National title.
For
former National
Hare & Hound chamP,
Destry
Abbott, his luck has also changed,
but
from
good
to...
well, not so
good. All he
needed to wraP up his fourth
title was to
win one of the three
remaining rounds, but
he's still looking for that
title-clinching
win with
,ust
one
chance
left.
So
what does all this mean?
lt means that
this
year's
National Hare &
Hound Series
will
go
down to the last
race
-
a final-round showdown betlveen
Abbott and
Pearson. And
iust
like the
recently
concluded Supercross
Series, whoever
wins
the final between the two,
will also
win the
title. Unfonunately, we're
going
to have
to wait
,rloy 13.
