"l never really enjoyed this track, but I found some good Iines today," Pourcel said. Meanwhile, in the MX I division, Stefan Everts took his foufth Grand Prix victory of the season, also going l- | , and is now 40 points ahead of second-placed rider Tanel Leok in the championship points. Leok flnished second in Germany, after going 6-2, while Kevin Striibos scored third place with 2-4 results. The opening moto of the l'4X2 class proved to be a Pourcel domination, as the younger Pourcel, Christophe, led the race ahead of his older brother, Sebastien. The Nvo Kawasaki-mounted riders ran away from the pack during the early going, although after a few laps, the elder Pourcel pulled out with mechanical prob- lems. Holding down second and third places at the time were Raftray and de Reuver, and this baftle proved to be an exciting one. At the halfway mark, howev- er, Rattray, the series leader and winner of the first three GPs of the season, made a small mistake and dropped back to fourth, leaving de Reuver alone in second. lnheriting third was Alessio Chiodi, show- ing once again that he is very much fight- in8 for the championship this year.
