45-minute race under way. it was Reggie Lamson
who
absconded with the holeshot
at the dead-€ntine start. Burn€tt
settled into
a close second. ahead of Martin
Schneider and
Sobby Hunt. A bobble on the opening
lap dropped Lamson
back to sixth, while allowing Sumett to run out front.

the field for the remaining 40 minutes
to earily collect the wifl.
Dale Hooker came from out of the
pack
on the opening lap
to
overtake Schneider for
second
place
on lap three, where he
r/vould end up finishing. Lamson
spent his entire race

make up for his early mish+ and was rewarded with
a third-
place
finish,
over Schneider. Hunt rounded out the top five,
ahead ofJimmy Rivers and Greg lYcconnell.
