Tim Stowe grabbed the holeshot, with Palrick Garrahan and Garrison Gragg hot on his heels. Four corners later, Garrahan stole the lead. This has been a favorite riding spot of the Garrahan brothers since they were teenagers, and Patrick was a favorite to win. This put the l6-year-old GragS in the lead for rhe irsl time. ''I was surprised to find myself leading before finishing half oI the first lap," Gragg admitted.
