Abrigo was one of a large number of Pro riders drawn to Oregon for the eighth annual Nonhwest Supercrors Championrhip, and he pocketed a large chunk of money from the purse for his clean sweep o{ rhe weekend's l25cc and 250cc Pro classes. Abrigo had tough competition from another Washington rider, as National Arenacross conrender Brad Hagseth was also among rhe front-runnersi he placed second overall to AbrQo in both classes. Abrigo s rirst of rwo overall Fnday wins came in rhe l25cc Pro class. Abrigo aced both motos, finishing ahead of Yamaha-mounted Brad Hagseth, whose 2-2 finishes netted the rider from Centmlia second overall. while the top'placing Oregonian was ahe third-place Iinisher, |\.ike Horban, who finished third in moto one and backed up that scellar performance with a founh-place flnish, behind Abrigo, Hagsech and Kenny Webster, in moto two.
