Otis Chandler, who
served as the
pub-
lisher
of the Los Angeles frmes from 1950
to 1980, and who is well known among
classic automobile and motorcycle enthusi-
asts for his Chandler Collection of morE
than 80 classic cars and motorcycles
in
Oxnard, California, died at his home in
Ojai, California, on February
27 after suf-
fering from
a degenerative
illness
known as
Lewy
body disease. He was 78.
