Wide Open Spons Arena.
Fay
grabbed
the
holeshot in the Open
P.o main, while Kyle RiSsdale, Eric tuckman and
leff
Hiatt dispLrt-
ed second.
Just
when it looked like
RaSsdale
was
8oing
to estab-
lish himself in that spot. he
got
shumed back to
fourth.
Now Rick-
man was second,
with Hiaft runninS third, whil€ Ragsdale worked
at regaining those lost
positions.
With four laps to
8o,
Ragsdale
passed
Hiaft, and one lap later he
got
by Rj.kman to move back
into
second.
By then, Fay was on cruise
control, and he won with
ease over Ragsdaie, with tuckrmn third and Hiaft
fourth.
When the 80- l50cc Four-Stroke
main left the line. Davis
Fisher was no better than founh and
facing
an
uphill
battle
in
thi! highly competitive class.
lt took a few laps for Fisher to
get
by
leremy
"Bulldo8"
Lehmann
and move into third. His
next
vicrim was Mark Russell. and now he had one more rider to
pass.
As his dad,
Rex,
cheered
him on, Davis
put a
slick
inside
move on
John
Brown and won it
toing
away! Brown and
Rustell
finished second and third, respectively-
Brothers Powerspons' Brad Baker stole rhe
srart of the
450cc Amateur main
and never looked back as he cut one
stronS lap after another Shane
TonsSan was second, but Brady
"Captain
Ameri.a" F{ueller wa5 hot on his tail. On lap
four,
Mueller
passed
Tonsgart and tried
his
best to
reel in Baker, but
Baker won with room to sPare.
The 50cc Four-SBoke
main was a two-rider baftle betweefl
Taylor Maslet and Cody Annable.
These two
younS
Suns
left
the rest of the
field behind as they traded
positions
all ov€r the
trick. Slip and slide, dip
and dive, these awo rode

all the).
were worth right to the finish, where Masset
just
barely
held
off
Annable.
Bubba Becker had a
Sood
view
ofthe
action in third.
Ryan PuSh slid iflto tlrrn on€ with the
lead in
the Supermoto
main aM set a fast
pace. Darrin Gavin, Richard F'liller and Ryan
Mc8eath had a
quire
a scrap over.econd.
Pugh rode steadily to
the win-
McBeath
emer8ed
in second, with Miller and Gavin
close b€hind.
PuSh a8ain shot into the lead of the Supermoto Unlimited
main
and set
sail. The same three
riders who had disputed
second earli€r were at it again, only this time
it was Gavin who
snatched second
at the line. l'4cBeath took third, while Miller
settled for fourth.
The 85cc F4odified and 85cc Unlimited mains
were models
of consistency,
as
"Earthquake
Jake"
Burton
jumped
into the
lead both times out. Cole Frederickson has been
runninS
strong
Iately
and
never
let
Bunon
rest- Frederickson could not afford a
mistake, as
"8ulldo8"
Lehmann
was nipping at his heels. The
results were the
same in both races, with Burton first.
Frederackson second and
Lehmann third.
