Nick Wey has certainty
turned some
heads
in 2005. The MDK/Motosport-backed
rider has been consistently beating mary
of the factory boys this
year
and currently
sits in sixth overall, one
point
behind
Suzuki's lrran lbdesco, in the Supercross-
class series standings. Wey had an amazing
.ide
in the mud at San Francisco,
where he
put
his Honda on the
podium,
and then
backed that up wth a founh-place finrsh
rn
St.
Louis. Wey now has
a
huge lead in the
race
for the U.S. Smokeless
Tobacco Pro
Privateer Challenge, which
pap
$100,000
to the top-finishirB
pri
teer at the end of
the series.

My

b
working
really well ard things are well
organized, so I arn
iust
trying to focus on the
races
instead
of
having
to
get
the bike
dialed and stufr. So we have been able to
rnake some
gains
at the races, instead of
always having to
work
on the bike. So
that! one of the big factors, and I
guess

I'm

nickwela The first time I really raced the
four-stroke was last summer and l've

a

since then about
it. We
just
decided before the season
that I
was
going
to riie dp four-stroke in Supego6s, and I

it
was a
good
move.
Since
November
we've had a
pretty
basic set up, and it't
been working
great.
I think our bike is real
