which is unusualfor the winter
series
in the Nonh Carolina mountajns. The
previous
week,
Richard Clippard had been making.hanSes to the trackr He
aook out the long
rhythm
section and
replaced ir
with tlvo shon
tabletops
and a long set of skimming whoops. The riders would
be surprised by these
new
changes
at round 10, which would
put
their
racinS
skills
to
the
test.
Clippard
told
everyone to stay
tuned, as there are more chantes to come...
At round 10, the l25cc Novice class saw several lead
changes. ln moto one, Ryan Parkerson drove his Honda 250F to
the holeshot and th€ lead. Tyler Fox
quickl"y
made the
pass
on
DJ. Troianowtki to take over the second spot. Erandon Harvey
and
Joey
Grant followed. The new whoop section
got
several of
the riders, who ended up either
Soing
down or
going
off the
side of the section. Parkerson held his drive and took the win,
followed by Fox, who did fall victim to the n€w section but
got
right back

agajn. Trojanowski took third.
ln moto two, Parkerson again made a strong drive to take
the
holeshot
and the lead- Troianowski held off Fox for a few
turns before Fox again made the
pass
to take over second.
Parterson
was
makin8 a
fast run
to take the overall win, but then
he
fell
victim to the
new
section:
He went
down and had a
hard
time
gefting
the bike fired
back
up. Fox was holdinS
the second
position,
and
he
took
over at
the
point,
but then Harvey
picked
up the
pace
and
passed
Fox lo take the win in moto tvvo.
Fox s solid 2-2
per{ormance gave
him the overall win for
the
day. Harvey's win in moto two secured second overall,
Trojanowski went 3-3
for
ahard. and
Parkerson
went l-5 for
founh overall. Grant took lifth.
