Albertson meanwhile, had suffered a midPack start and was fiShtin8 his way throu8h the field. By the end of lap two. he'd already made it to fourth, and he set his si8hts on the leaders. Carsten held second until lap three. when Massachusetts resident Keith lohnson sn€aked by and took off after Renner Albertson 8ot Carsten lor third on ahe next circuit, but shortly thereafter, Alb€nson lost his front end and went down - eflectively killan8 his shot at the overall. Meanwhile. Johnson re€led in Renner and srar.ed an epic battle for the win. Johnson {inally made the pass on lap nine and held rhe lead to the finish. Renner {inished second, well ahead of Carsten, and his 4-2 tally was Sood enough for the oveGll, with Miller PostinS 2-4 for second, and Johnson rounding out the podium with his 6-l efiort. Other standouts included Texan Blake wharton. who won the 85cc (14- l5) and Supermini classesi Florida's Zach Bell, who took the 65cc (10-ll) and 85cc (7-l l) wins: Justin Barcra, who bested Ehe 85cc ( I 2 I 3) and lun'or l"lini cla.6es: and Adam Cianciarulo, who won Mth the 65cc Open and 65cc (7-9) classes.
