B
rady Captain America
Mueller and
Wan
"Earp"
Maguire
ruled
the roost at round
three of the Renton l4otorcycles
Extreme Flat Track
Series. These two riders won a combined
five main events
on the well-prepared short trf(k inside
the
Wide
Open Spons Arena,
Mueller staned his
three-race win st eak by takint
control
of the Pro-Am main, while
Bred Baker and
r.D-
B€ach fought
over second
place.
Mueller won it, with Baker
iust
barely
holdinS ofr Beach at
the line.
The 450cc Amateur
main was a carbon copy, as Hueller
once a8ain went
to the front while Baker and Beach argued
over second, with Baker
taking the
posation.
At
the start of the
Open Amateur main, the "Captain"
once again took command,
but this time lYike Torrisi was
second and Amy Pruczinski
was third. Pruczinski was hungry
and squared off the lirst turn
to make a
p€rfect
high/low
pass
on Torrisi to move
into second. Despite Pruczinski's
best
efforts, lvlueller won
with room to spare, while Torrisi
came
home a
strong third.

"Earp'
l"laguire
was
quick
on the trigger as he shot
into
the lead of rhe
85cc Unlimited main ahead of
"Earthquake
Jake"
Bunon and Cole Frederickon.
Bunon and Frederickon
were
derperate to win on their home
turf, and they tried hi8h,
low and
everywhere in betlveen
to
get
by llatuire. When the
smoke cleared, it
was
'eastern
gunslinger"
M€uire takint a
close win over
Burton io second and Fredericlson
in third.
Eleven
riders lined up tor the
80-l50cc Four-Stroke main,
and once
aSain that invader from
the east, "Wyatt Earp."
blasted his
way into the lead.
.leremy
"Bulldot"
Lehmann has
been runninS
stronS lately, and he
put pressure
on Maguire
right away-
The small four-stroke
singles in this class are very
evenly matched,
and the entire field stayed
bunched together.
Lehmann gave it all
he had but could not
afford even rhe
slithtest mistake,
a5 Supermoto ace Kevin
McDowell was riSht
behind him. At the finish,
Maguire added another
notch to his
pistol,
with Lehmann and
McDowell finishinE
second and
third, respectively.
Parker Fitzhugh, son of former
AMA National number
holder Chris FiEhuEh, showed
that he had been
coached well,
as h€ won th€ socc
Oil-lfljected main in fine sty'e
over Dy'an
Hunter and Zach Berkey-
History was made in the
Over 30 main, as Karl
Schenk
won
his first race of the se:son!
Schenk reall,, had to work for
rhis
one. as veteran Kirk Stroflt
stayed
glued
to his rear fender
all
the way. Schenk
got
a real good look
at Strong's front wheel for
eiEht straiSht laps, but he would not
budge. Strong setrled for
second, and Lefaye Mccarver finished third.
Vintage
bikes with one or two c/linders mixed it up in
the
Vinta8e,Twins
main. Dick Wbll is
probably getting
really tired of
following youngster
Kenan Dunaan,
One of these daF. Wall
iust
miStt get the
better of him, but not
