Arenacross Series marked the
return to
action after
a month-long hiatus from rac-
ing.
Not
since
December 4 in
Rockford,
lllinois, have the bikes hit the dirt
in
the
AMA-sanctioned Arenacross
Series. This
meant a
lot
of time
off, which some
rid-
ers,
like Sellards, took advantage of.
This was

Friday]."
Sellards took
off after
Johnson
in the
main,
like a cat after a canary
and rode his
tail until

and then checked out.

Still.
Johnson
has a solid
lead with five
races
remaining. A lot of time and a lot of
races left - anything
can happen.

it's apparent

Clark.
Having
won
the
first nighr after catching
Neese, who had
pulled
the
holeshot, the
stage was set for a race on saturday that
would brinS the
fans to their feet, as well.
"We
diced it up big-time," Clark said
of
his race whh Neese.
"l
got
the holeshot
and he came
in
and
slammed me. lt was a
good
move, but real a8gressive.
I was able
to catch
him about midway
though the
race and hold on for the win.
We
came
off
the track
hlgh-fiving and stuff."
