Last week's winner, Team Honda's Andrew Short finished fifth place, while the run- ner-up in Anaheim, Ryan Villopoto, put in another strong performance and finished fourth place. The Lites main event promised to be a good one, with the l0 quickest riders all posting lap times within almost a second of each other following the aftemoon practice sessions.
