Rogan is known for the wild
and extraordinary
stunts that contestaflts
do
on the
program.
The
contestants
are challenged to combinations
of ter-
ritinS, disgusting and
mentally fatiSuinS
feats that determine
a winner.
The
pair of contestants that
manage to complete
all of the feats the
quickest, hang on the longest, or eat
a
Pile
ofstomach-turn-
ing worms the
quickest, wins a
$50,000
grand
prize.
Alpinestars
provided
the
"Fear
Factor"
contestants with some
oftheir hiSh-tech
motorcycle
protective gear for one of the recent stunts.
The third
and final stunt on a recent episode
of
"Fear
Factor" required each
contestant
to be draSSed behind
a helicopter, wearing
AlPinestars suits,
boots, and
Sloves.
Each contestant
had to hold
onto a sled that was
attached to the
helicoPter that
would drag
the
guys
and
girls
along the asphalt
through
major obstacles toward the
finish line
They
burst through several
barriers that
promptly
ignited
into flames. Then they
had to calcu-
late their
release
from the sled to stop as
close to the flnish
line as
possible- The even-
tual winners,.lim
Smith and Michael
"Spanky"
lnsalaco, won
due tolim's
perfect
coast
that stopped exactly
on the rinish
line
and Spanky's
slightly
over-the-line flnish.
The
two motorcycle enthusiasts
were
perfectly
comfortable
in leather as both
own motor-
cycles
of their own. Spanky
plans
to
pur-
chase a brand-new
Harley-Davidson
35th
Anniversary
Superglide with
his
share
of the
winnings,
so it sounds
like the right
guys
ended up winning when
the dust
had settled.
