Deegan Confirms
250SX West
Title Defense
H
aiden Deegan confirmed on social
media his return to the 250SX West
division for the upcoming 2026 Monster
Energy AMA Supercross Championship.
Deegan recently made his 450 debut dur
-
ing the FIM World Supercross Champion-
ship in Argentina and then again in Aus-
tralia. Rumors pointed to him racing a 450
at A1, but that seems unlikely now. Fans
will have to wait until round one of the
2026 AMA Pro Motocross to see Deegan
go head-to-head with Jett Lawrence and
the rest of the 450MX division.
"That's a wrap on the Australia tour and
sadly the '4faddy' [450] for a little while,"
Deegan said. "Time to get back on the
'2faddy' [250] and get ready for SX. The
plan never changed. See you out West."
Deegan won his first 250SX West Su
-
percross Championship earlier this year
before claiming another 250MX title in the
AMA Pro Motocross Championship. Rac-
ing in the 250SX West series allows him
more time to prep the 450 for Pro Mo-
tocross since the Western region starts
earlier and has a longer break before the
summer series.

Announces
250SX Plans
C
lubMX announced which of its
250SX riders will be competing in
which regions.
A release from the team said, "As of
today, Max Vohland and Hunter Yoder
will head to the West Coast, and Coty
Schock and Devin Simonson will be on
the East Coast.
"The plan is simple: Coty and Devin
have been racing all over the world.
When they return later this month, they
could use a break in the action. This will
allow them to do the necessary test
-
ing to get their race bikes situated for
East Coast racing. The schedule plays
in their favor, since the first 250SX East
round is race-number seven.
"Max and Hunter have been testing
their race bikes for a while now and
are anxious to get racing. Both are
originally from the West Coast, making
it an easy trip for them to return home.
As racing starts for them in January,
the first six rounds will serve as a pre
-
cursor to the rest of the season."
