Guintoli to Compete in London Marathon in Leathers S ylvain Guintoli is preparing for an unusual endurance challenge in 2026, announc- ing that he will run the London Marathon in full racing leathers to raise money for the children's cancer-support charity, PASIC. The former WorldSBK Cham - pion and MotoGP test rider confirmed the effort last week, outlining a training program that blends long-distance running with the added strain of the heavy, heat-retaining RST suit he plans to wear on race day. According to Guintoli, the idea grew from a desire to create a fundraising effort that would "feel meaningful, difficult and symbolic," after going through the pain of losing his son, Luca, to cancer in July this year. PASIC, which provides practi - cal, financial and emotional sup- port to families of young people with cancer across the Midlands, has welcomed the initiative. The charity's representatives noted that Guintoli's high-profile participation could significantly boost both awareness and dona - tions ahead of the marathon. Guintoli has shared early training updates with followers on social media, showing runs completed in full gear around his local roads. He plans to continue documenting the buildup to highlight the charity's work and encourage contributions in the months leading up to the April 2026 event. CN WIND IN THE P36 Sylvain Guintoli will undertake the legendary event next year in honor of his late son, Luca. Herrin to Rahal Ducati R ahal Ducati Moto has an- nounced Josh Herrin will join the team for the 2026 Mo- toAmerica Supersport Cham- pionship in place of Superbike- bound PJ Jacobson. The effort will be supported by Desnuda Tequila as a primary partner. Herrin, who has nearly two decades of front-running results in U.S. road racing, including two premier Superbike titles, adds significant depth to the team's Supersport program that will also see Kayla Yaakov back for a second season with the team and Alessandro Di Mario step - ping up from the Twins Cup. "Racing with RDM feels like the perfect next step," said Herrin. "Graham [Rahal] and Ben [Spies] moved mountains to make this happen so quickly and, throughout the entire process, they've been nothing but professional, supportive and genuine. They picked me up at a moment when I needed it most, and that means a lot. The future is bright with this team, and I'm excited to get to work." Rahal said adding Herrin to the roster reflects the team's long-term strategy as it contin - ues to scale up its MotoAmerica presence. He added that Des- nuda Tequila's partnership aligns with RDM's growing commercial profile and acknowledged con- tinued support from Roller Die and Brew Watches. The team also confirmed internal restruc- turing, with Grace Kever stepping into the team manager role and Tom Campion assuming duties as technical director. CN After being turfed out of the Warhorse HSBK Ducati team for Cameron Beaubier, Herrin will step back to the Supersport class with Rahal Ducati Moto for 2026.
