Warwick, Australia, June 22,
in the MX1 class saw Monster
Energy CDR Yamaha's Jed Bea-
ton going toe-to-toe with Boost
Mobile Honda Racing's Kyle
Webster for the win. Beaton took
the overall victory.
It was a comfortable win in
the opening MX1 moto of the

Nathan Crawford launching to
the holeshot, only to be over-
hauled by Beaton in the follow-
ing laps. Beaton stretched it out
to a 9.3-second victory over the

recovered well from an early
error, working his way from the
edge of the top 10 to a distant
third.
The second moto belonged
to Webster, who rebounded to
earn the victory over Beaton. The
duo traded blows all race long,
with the Honda rider, Webster,
clinging on for a 1.3-second
win. Crawford finished in third,
followed by Todd and Luke Clout
(Kawasaki).
The same podium trio hold
down the top championship
positions with Beaton on 207
points, Webster on 192, and
Crawford on 171.

-
lowed by Brodie Connoly (Hon-
