P114 Can-Am's Jimmy Ellis won the Trans-AMA 250cc support class at the Lake Whitney, Texas, round and was pictured on the cover 50 years ago... A week later, the Trans- AMA Series was in Puyallup, Washington, where Gerrit Wolsink and Gary Semics split moto wins in the 500cc class, but Roger DeCoster came away with the overall...
