As
positions changed
throughout the lead group,
Quiles took control, with Taiyo
Furusato (Honda Team Asia)
slotting into second, while
Piqueras briefly slipped back
before recovering to retake third
and then move into second at
turn one on the penultimate lap.
In the points, Moreira is in the
box seat with one race to go on
281 from Gonzalez's 257, and
Baltus is third on 232.
Moto3
Joel Kelso (LevelUp - MTA)
made the perfect launch from
pole and led early, with Angel
Piqueras (Frinsa - MT Hel-
mets - MSI) and Quiles close
behind.
Kelso controlled the
race through the opening half,
maintaining a small gap, but on
final lap, no one could stop him,
and Moreira claimed a crucial
victory to strengthen his title
position.
Veijer celebrated his first
Moto2 podium in second,
Alonso completed the rostrum
in third, Canet finished fourth,
and Baltus was fifth. Gonzalez
took sixth, keeping his faint title
hopes alive heading to Valencia,
while Daniel Holgado (CFMOTO
Inde Aspar) finished behind him
to secure Rookie of the Year.
