right now, I'm currently favoring
my cable clutch. My riding style
involves using the clutch, and a
lot of the new guys don't. I call
it the suicide grip. But for me, I
[always] have my finger on the
clutch lever. Because I use the
clutch more and slip it more, I
prefer the cable style."
Tomac plans to race a few
rounds of the World Supercross
Championship before making his
U.S. debut on the KTM at Ana

After a disappointing year
with
Kawasaki, former MXGP World
Champion Jorge Prado is togeth-
er again with the Austrian family.
"I
grew up racing with KTM. This
will be my 15th season racing
with the Red Bull KTM factory,
so I'm just used to riding KTMs. I
feel like the bike fits me,
plus, inside the team,
I kind of followed the
mentality of the team,
so we actually match.
I'm just happy to get
back here. The moment
I got back on the KTM, I
felt like everything was
just clicking—suspen-
sion, the frame, to the
engine,
everything was
just one. It's just the
bike for me.
"I think I'm ready to
go for the 2026 season
and get back to my
normal self and achieve
the goals I had already set for
myself."
Prado's first race on the KTM
will be Anaheim 1.
