Alpinestars' Tech-Air MX is an airbag system that provides upper body protection for motocross riders.
Worn over or under a jacket or jersey, the self-contained Tech-Air MX monitors riding conditions and deploys
an airbag in milliseconds upon detecting a crash. It includes passive chest and back protectors, and the
airbag's gas inflator is replaceable. It's powered by an integrated, rechargeable lithium-ion battery and is
activated or deactivated by the left buckle on the chest protector. In addition to its default MX Race mode,
two additional riding modes—Enduro and Rally—can be customized by the user via the Tech-Air app.
