Worn over or under a jacket or jersey, the self-contained Tech-Air MX monitors riding conditions and deploys an airbag in milliseconds upon detecting a crash. It includes passive chest and back protectors, and the airbag's gas inflator is replaceable. It's powered by an integrated, rechargeable lithium-ion battery and is activated or deactivated by the left buckle on the chest protector.
