Sunday MotoGP
In Sunday's race, Bezzecchi got
the holeshot from pole despite
a strong launch from Acosta,
with Marquez again slotting into
third. Franco Morbidelli (Pertam

ina Enduro VR46 Racing) was
involved
in a scuffle at turn five
and crashed out, while Joan Mir
(Honda HRC Castrol) suffered
another technical issue and
retired at the end of lap two.
Bagnaia held fourth early on
ahead of Quartararo. Quartararo
soon came under pressure from
Binder, who in turn was chal
-
lenged by Aldeguer. The rookie
made
a firm move at turn five
on Binder to take fifth place,
then passed Quartararo before
inheriting fourth when Bagnaia
crashed at turn 10 on lap 11;
Bagnaia's fourth consecutive
MotoGP Sprint
Marco Bezzecchi launched
cleanly from pole to take the
holeshot, with Pedro Acosta
(Red Bull KTM) holding second
and Alex Marquez moving up
to third after a strong getaway.
This pushed Fabio Quartararo
(Monster Energy Yamaha Mo
-
toGP) and Francesco Bagnaia
(Ducati Lenovo)
back to fourth
and fifth. By the end of lap two,
Acosta was pressuring Bez
-
zecchi and made his move into
turn
one to take the lead, with
Marquez also closing in. A gap
of 1.5 seconds opened between
the leading trio and the chasing
group of Quartararo, Bagnaia
and Fabio Di Giannantonio (Per
-
tamina Enduro VR46 Racing).
Lap
three saw Marquez
repeat Acosta's pass on Bezzec
-
chi into turn one, while further
back, Marc
Marquez stand-in
rider Nicolo Bulega (Ducati
Lenovo) crashed at turn 13, and
Joan Mir (Honda HRC Castrol)
was forced to retire. Acosta and
Marquez then traded the lead
multiple times, Acosta attacking
at turn three and turn five, while
Marquez repeatedly countered
into turn one. Bezzecchi stayed
close, watching the duel unfold.
With three laps to go, Mar
-
quez began to edge ahead,
though Acosta refused to
let
him escape. Starting the final
lap, Marquez held a four-tenths
of a second advantage. Acosta
closed in but couldn't strike,
and Marquez claimed the Sprint
win by just twelve-hundredths
of a second. Bezzecchi finished
five-tenths of a second behind
in third.

as on Saturday, but the engineers
are checking everything very deeply.
It's painful because we had some
potential in the race, but this is what
can happen. The positive is that we
had good speed all sessions, and we
were able to improve and keep the
pace of the other riders."
