Roczen, Anstie Ace Argentina WSX Opener T he opening round of the FIM World Supercross Cham- pionship took place in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on November 8, to kick off the five-race 2025 season. Held at the Autodromo Oscar y Juan Galvez F1 track, Ken Roczen and Max Anstie used their veteran experience to sweep all three of their respec - tive main events. SX1 Roczen dominated all three main events. The former WSX World Champion battled a stomach bug during his interna- tional trip but saved his energy for when he needed it most. The Pipes Motorsports Suzuki rider topped the afternoon qualifying session and posted the fastest time in the following Superpole lap. From there, it was smooth sailing for the German native, as good starts put him up front from the get-go. Wins in both of the sprint races laid the founda - tion for another solid perfor- mance in the final main race of the night. With a clean sweep, Roczen heads into round two with the points lead in the SX1 division. "I feel like I rode well," Roc- zen said. "With the track and the moisture, there's a fine line between pushing for speed and sliding out and making mistakes. I had fun out there. I thought the track was awesome, and I had an incredible night." Yamaha's Justin Cooper fin - ished second overall with 5-2-2 scores on the night. The Ameri- can rider continued his extensive WIND IN THE P48 Ken Roczen swept the night in SX1 by winning all three main events at the WSX opener in Argentina.
