Tomac Changes L ast week, Yamaha officially announced the departure of Eli Tomac from the Monster Energy Star Racing Yamaha Team after four seasons, saying, "Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing extends its sincere thanks to Eli Tomac for the remarkable success achieved together over the past four seasons (2022–2025) in the SuperMo - tocross World Championship and wishes Eli all the best in his future endeavors." While with Yamaha, Tomac took the 2022 Monster Energy AMA Supercross 450SX and Pro Motocross 450MX titles and led Team USA to victory at the Motocross of Nations in 2022. The Colorado native achieved 16 main-event wins in 450SX and 16 moto wins in 450MX, including two Daytona Supercross wins, during his time with the team. On Tuesday, November 4, it's expected that Tomac will be announced as one of KTM's newest 450-class members, along - side Jorge Prado and returning KTM rider Aaron Plessinger. Geerts Joins Beta MRT Team J ago Geerts has joined the Beta MRT Team for the 2026 and 2027 seasons of the FIM Motocross World Championship. The Belgian rider is scheduled to compete in the MXGP divi - sion on the Italian-made Beta RX 450 machine. "I am very happy to have signed with Beta for the next two seasons," Geerts said. "It is a big change for me after eight years at Yamaha. I felt I needed a change to improve further, and I think that with the new team, this can be possible for me. I have already done some testing with the RX 450, and it has gone well. I feel comfortable on the bike, and I am ready to start winter preparation. The mood in the team is amazing, and I believe that together we can achieve great results in the coming years, so I am looking forward to starting this run!" Team manager Elio Marchetti said, "He is a young rider but already has significant interna - tional experience and a winning mentality. We believe that his speed and determination, com- bined with the technical growth of our MXGP project, can lead us to significant results. This signing represents an important step in Beta's strategy to establish itself among the leaders in the World Championship." CN Jago Geerts signed with Beta for the next two seasons in FIM MXGP.
