were intent on disrupting their
own rhythm, while Max Quiles
(CFMOTO Aspar) recovered
from a massive front-end mo-
ment at turn two on lap six.
That
left rookie Guido Pini
(Liqui Moly Dynavolt Intact GP)
to give chase to Furusato before
he crashed out at turn 15 with
one lap to go, which allowed An-
gel Piqueras (MSI KTM) to take
second
ahead of Fernandez,
who nearly crashed at turn nine
when pushing for a pass on the
final lap. Almansa was fourth,
with Ryusei Yamanaka (Frinsa
MT Helmets-MSI) in fifth.
Rueda (365 points) is cham

Piqueras
(251) strengthening
his grip on second overall after

The race was delayed by one
hour and 40 minutes due to the
incident involving Noah Dettwiler
(CIP Green Power) and Jose
Antonio Rueda (Red Bull KTM
Ajo). Both riders were taken to
the hospital by the medical he-
licopter, and the race start was
pushed
back until the medical
helicopter returned.
The restarted race was short-
ened from 17 to 11 laps, and with
Rueda absent,
Taiyo Furusato
(Honda Team Asia) sensed an
opening. The Japanese rider
broke clear of a 13-rider gaggle
to claim a maiden Grand Prix win
and Honda's first in Moto3 all year.
Furusato benefited from some
chaos behind. Leopard Racing
