awasaki has unveiled a new model
aimed at the midsize adventure seg-
ment. Kawasaki says, "The KLE500
ABS
is built for adventure, transitioning from
city streets to dirt roads and beyond."
The KLE500 ABS, with its rally-inspired
styling, is equipped with a 451cc parallel-
twin engine and features 21-inch front and
17-inch rear spoked wheels. It comes with a
43mm cartridge-type inverted KYB fork (non-
adjustable) and a preload-adjustable single
rear shock. The fuel tank holds 4.2 gallons.

nectivity through Kawasaki's Rideology app.
A special
edition version is
also available. The KLE500 SE ABS features
several
upgrades, including a taller wind-
shield, a larger skid plate, metal-reinforced
handguards,
a 4.3-inch all-digital TFT color
instrument panel and LED turn signals.
The Kawasaki KLE500 has an MSRP of
$6599, and the SE $7499. The bikes are cur
