better moments. This weekend
was not one of the better mo-
ments. It was a tough weekend,
and
we ended up struggling
more than I imagined.
"In race two, I had a technical
problem, which was unfortu-
nate, and not the way any of us
wanted
to end the year. We have
some new things that we are
going to do, and I am excited
to see if there is a payoff at the
end. I think there will be. 2026
starts in a couple of days, with a
test at Jerez on Tuesday."
"It was a lot better this week
-
end [than Estoril] for sure," Fong
(Attack
Performance Strack
Racing Yamaha) said. "Instead
of being three seconds off the
pace I was only… half a second
to a second. I am happy that
we have learned stuff, and it
was cool to be in a little battle.
Estoril was for sure a struggle,
just in general. As a racer you
want to be better and be closer
to the front and every time this
weekend, honestly, from the
first session, we have built a lot
better and been comfortable. I
could not even imagine it being
so different. How you ride a
motorcycle, how you brake, how
you open the throttle, how you
turn. I had to re-invent myself. It
is a different way here. I can
-
not explain it unless somebody
comes from
MotoAmerica to
here. I am happy that we ended
on a positive note."
WorldSSP
This was the only WorldSBK-
borne paddock championship
that had been wrapped up be-
fore we got to Jerez, but clearly
nobody told
the riders. Mattia
Casadei (Motozoo ME Air Rac-
ing MV Agusta) took his second
Superpole win on Friday
over
Can Oncu (Yamaha bLU cRU
Evan Bros Racing).
