podium finish. Alvarez took the
lead early but washed the front
end in a corner on the first lap
and battled mechanical issues
for the rest of the race. His per
-
sistence paid off with another
top-three finish. Notably, Alvarez
also secured a Pro 125 win on
Saturday, demonstrating his
versatility and resilience across
multiple classes.
The Pro-Am division delivered
some of the closest racing ac
-
tion of the weekend, with David
"Racer" Fry and Kayden Lynn en-
gaging in an impressive duel for
the top spot. Fry took an early
lead, setting the pace through
lap one, but Kayden Lynn quickly
responded. On lap two, Kayden
Lynn recorded the fastest lap of
the race, a 10:22, as he powered
his Kawasaki into the lead. From
that point, he showed the kind
of composure that defines a
true front-runner, maintaining
steady lap times during the final
stages to secure the overall win.
Fry held firm in second, unable
to close the gap but comfort
-
ably ahead of Gavin Dugan, who
finished out the podium.
Dugan's consistency stood out;
he held third place from start to
finish while chaos erupted behind
him. Meanwhile, Jaxzen Tully
delivered one of the most memo
-
rable charges of the day. After a
rough start left him dead last on
the opening lap, the rider from
Lake Havasu City fought his way
through the field to finish fourth—
a gritty effort that showcased his
endurance and determination.
Matt Maple of Ramona, Califor
-
nia, finished in fifth.
In Women's Pro, Isla Phillips
from St. George, Utah, took the
win while demonstrating her
speed and skill in the tough Mes
-
quite conditions.
As the WORCS series heads
to California into the final round
at the 29 Palms Motorsports
Complex in Twentynine Palms,
four championships are still up
for grabs, including the overall
WORCS Championship.
