"I am very excited to be work - ing with the AEO Powersports KTM team for 2026," said Mum- ford. "I really think the change to the Austrian brand is going to elevate and take my career to the next step. Along with coming back to my roots, being back with a team based in California is going to be a huge posi - tive." Team owner Jeremy Scism said, "This team operates very closely and much like a family, so we are excited to have him in the mix next year. Carson has already proven himself in Supercross and outdoors with previous teams, and we're ex - cited to see what he can do on an Austrian brand bike in 2026. I think the bike will suit Carson's riding style." CN Carson Mumford has signed with the AEO Powersports KTM Racing team for the 2026 season. WIND IN THE P40 De Wolf To MXGP For 2026 K ay de Wolf announced his plans for the 2026 racing year, which sees the Dutch rider staying with the Nestaan Husqvarna Factory Racing team but graduating to the MXGP class for his rookie season aboard the FC 450 machine. De Wolf won the MX2 World Cham - pionship in 2024 and is set to move up to the premier MXGP division for the 2026 season. "This is a really special mo- ment for me," said de Wolf. "To move up to MXGP with Husqvar- na—the team that's been my home since I turned pro—it feels like a natural next step. We've shared so many incredible mo - ments together in MX2: race wins, podiums, a world title and so many lessons along the way. The FC 450 is an amazing machine, and I already feel at home on it. Of course, MXGP is a huge challenge, but I'm ready for it. I want to learn from the best, keep improving, and show what we can do in the pre - mier class." "Watching Kay's progres- sion over the years has been something truly spe- cial," said team manager Rasmus Jorgensen. "From his first days in EMX, we knew he had a rare combination of speed and determination, and that's exactly what car - ried him to an MX2 World title and countless incredible rides. Moving to MXGP is the next big step, but we have no doubt he'll adapt quickly. His work ethic, his mindset, and his connection with the team are all exceptional. 2026 will be about learning and finding his rhythm on the 450, but knowing Kay, he'll be fighting at the front before long." CN Kay de Wolf is staying with Husqvarna but moving up to the MXGP class in 2026.
