RECOVERY
MODE AGAIN
Mark Marquez is on the mend again
after suffering a broken collarbone
in his crash with Marco Bezzec-
chi. "I'm obviously sad because it's
again the right side—in this case, it
appears to be the collarbone," Mar-
quez said. "Once back in Madrid,
I'll undergo further medical exami-
nations to verify the real extent of
the injury. This is racing, and these
things can happen. Marco came to
apologize. I'll try to return as soon
as possible, while fully complying
with the recovery process."
VINALES WITHDRAWS
FROM ROUND,
POSSIBLY SEASON
Maverick Vinales withdrew from the
Indonesian GP on Saturday due to
continued issues with the left shoul-
der he injured at the Sachsenring
in July. The Catalan knows he's
months away from full fitness but
returned to Barcelona in the hope
of building up strength in the joint.
But at Mandalika, he admitted he
may need some time away. "To
keep going like this is very hard for
me, because I have pain and I'm
losing a lot of feedback from the
bike," he said on Friday. "So we
must be very smart and see what
is the best way to recover faster.
"I'm not improving now. And espe-
cially in terms of strength—a lot of
strength. So basically, in this track
that is very challenging in terms of
change of direction, I'm very slow."

The 2025 Indonesian MotoGP weekend will go down as one of, if not the,
worst in Pecco Bagnaia's (63) Grand Prix career. He was a shadow of the
rider that took the Motegi double last week, and serious questions are now
being asked by both him and Ducati as to how they can stop the bleeding.
