dominated the first moto of
the day against the MXGP and
MX2 divisions, leading every lap
over Lucas Coenen en route to
the opening moto win. Things
were a bit tougher later in the
day, as he fought his way back
from a crash in race three. Jett
remounted well outside the
top 10 but slowly worked his
way through the field, passing
current champions like Romain
Febvre and Jo Shimoda en route
to an eventual third. This earned
him the overall win as the top
rider in the MXGP division.
"The first one [race] was obvi

ously good for me, head down
and hit my lines," Jett said. "The
second one, I executed a good
start but got on the gas too hard
in the first turn, spun exiting the
