better result today, but I was still
able to win the Enduro1 title."
Verona bounced back from
day one's third place to win day
two by a comfortable 42-second
margin over E1-class winner
Morgan Lesiardo of Italy, which
gave Triumph its best EnduroGP
result ever.
"I'm tired but happy with to
-
day," Lesiardo said. "My first po-
dium in EnduroGP and first win
in Enduro1. For my home GP, this
result means something extra,
too. It was a hard weekend with
the rain and then sun. This is
also the first victory for Triumph
in the World Championship. It's
hard to describe the feeling;
there's a lot of emotion."
Third overall on the day was
Sherco's Jeremy Sydow.
In the overall EnduroGP Cham
-
pionship, with one round to go
in three weeks, Garcia leads
Verona, 207-192. Pichon, who

with 181 points.
The race for the Enduro2-
class (250cc two-stroke / 450cc

to the wire between Pichon and
Verona. Only two points sepa

In Enduro3 (300cc two-stroke
/ 475cc-plus four-stroke),
Sherco's Hamish MacDonald
leads fellow Sherco rider An-
toine Magain by 17 points.
The Women's EnduroGP
class did not race in Italy. With
one round to go, Rachel Gut

ish (Rieju) leads Rosie Rowett
(Rieju) by 11 points.
