dead last to a fourth-place fin-
ish after kickstart issues left
him stranded at the start. "The
holeshot I got yesterday was all
I had, apparently," Webb said.
"The bike didn't kick the first
couple times, so I had a bad
start. I was actually trying to get
past Ryder Guest when I bent
my chain guide and knocked
my chain off, so I was strug
-
gling in the creek, and that's
when I lost all those positions.
I didn't even know I was that far
back. I just kept charging hard.
I had some terrible mistakes on
the first lap. In the second lap,
I made everything with almost
no effort. I made up a lot of
ground, just not enough. That
first lap killed me."
Ryder Guest, racing for Kaua'i
Racing Development, capped
off the top five, praising the
event's difficulty.
Next up is the Fallen Timbers
Hard Enduro at Wildwood Lake
Raceway in Little Hocking, Ohio,
on September 28.
