Hollow Point Hard Enduro Delivers T he inaugural Hollow Point Hard Enduro brought a new level of intensity to the AMA East Hard Enduro Series, pre- sented by IRC Tire, as round six unfolded in Wellsville, Ohio, September 13-14. Known for its steep hills and unforgiving rock gardens, the area has long been a training ground for extreme riders. In dry and dusty conditions, 84 amateur riders tackled the Satur- day course, while 60 Pro and A- class riders lined up on Sunday's 13.5-mile racecourse filled with hills, creeks and boulder-strewn climbs. Saturday's amateur saw race leader Davin Shike complete a lap in just 59 minutes—far faster than expected. The decision was made to extend the race from two laps to three, and Shike rose to the occasion, completing the distance in three hours and 11 minutes. He crossed the line a commanding 18 minutes ahead of runner-up Gage Hill, with Jose Julian Hernandez Rios securing third. Georgia Eversole took the Pro Women's win, completing a WIND IN THE P48 Ryder LeBlond came from behind to win the Hollow Point Hard Enduro in Ohio. PHOTOS: STEPH VETTERLY
