Lynn, Klein Finish Best at Baja 400 T he SLR Honda Team of Tyler Lynn and Carter Klein won the sixth running of the SCORE Baja 400, September 12-13. It was the duo's third SCORE World Desert Championship win of the year. They completed the 425- mile racecourse in eight hours, 28 minutes and seven seconds. "We had an amazing race day," Lynn said. "One small tip-over around race mile 190, but other than that, we had had a pretty much flawless day. In the first half of the race, we increased the lead to about five minutes throughout my section. And then Carter got on the bike, and we did a full pit with wheel changes and everything. And Carter, by the finish, had brought it up about another four or five minutes. So, we're up to, I think, a nine-minute lead. "We had some moments out there that I know I learned from, so I'll be better at the SCORE Baja 1000 [in November]." The Hero Racing team of Shane Logan and Ciaran Naran crossed the line second over - all in the Pro Moto Unlimited division. Earlier in the week, the team's third rider, Arturo Salas Jr, suffered an injury that forced Logan and Naran to split the distance between themselves. Logan started the first leg of 204 miles, while Naran opted for the second stint of 210 miles. Unfortunately, Naran was hit by a car going backwards on the crossover road but luckily wasn't seriously injured and managed to ride through to the finish, clocking in about 20 minutes out of first place with a time of 8:47.31. "[Logan and Naran] took over some more miles, unfortunately, because I had a little spill," said Salas. "Unfortunately, we had a little hiccup where Ciaran was on the bike, and there was a car on the crossover road, and he hit it. So thankfully, he's here at the finish line, healthy. But yeah, Shane and Ciaran did an excellent job, where I was just a backup rider on the sidelines and cheering them on. We want to try and get our first win of the year out of these Bajas." Other moto class winners in - cluded Bhaskar Ramani's team, which won the Pro Moto Limited, Jason Alosi's effort for the Pro Moto 30 victory, Shane Esposito in Pro Moto 40, and Harold Har - ris's team, which took the overall in Pro Moto 60. Twenty-two-year-old Angel Aguirre from Rosarito, Mexico, won the Pro Moto Ironman class with a solo effort of 10 hours, 34 minutes and 36 seconds on the 716x Honda CRF450X. The fourth and final round of the 2025 SCORE World Desert Championship takes place with the 58th running of the Baja 1000 on November 10. CN OVERALL BIKE (Top 5) 1. Tyler Lynn (Hon) 8:28:07.065 2.
