ROUND 16 / SEPTEMBER 13, 2025 LAKE OZARK SPEEDWAY / ELDON, MISSOURI FLAT TRACK I AMA PROGRESSIVE AMERICAN FLAT TRACK P114 Daniels, meanwhile, lagged in the danger zone at times, generally running times in the fifth to seventh range in practice (even finishing one qualifying session a worrying 12th). But, as he tends to do, Daniels rounded into form as the evening program took shape, finishing second in his heat and the dash before grabbing the early lead in the main event. However, there was no safety at the front, with a swarm KTM's Logan McGrane. That resulted in a red flag and substantial delay as the crashed riders were attended to. At that point, Daniels' 1.5 percent disaster possibility seemed to grow exponentially, an imagined reality made all the worse by the enforced contemplation stretched out by the wait. When the racing finale resumed, Bauman squared up to Daniels to secure the lead of contenders flanking and carving one another while jockeying for first. Bauman and James Ott came together as part of that intense lead group, with Ott crashing his G&G Yamaha, which then rebounded off the wall and initiated a chain reaction that also took down Racing Unlimited Parts Bros Kawasaki's Dalton Gauthier, Mission Foods/ Digitrace KTM's Billy Ross, and Schaeffer's Motorsports 37 BRONSON BAUMAN 5TH SUPERTWINS Bronson Bauman again demonstrated his top-five chops despite only racing a handful of times this season, backing up his Peoria TT fourth with a Lake Ozark fifth in SuperTwins. Bauman continued to increasingly come to grips with the Mike Butler Yamaha as the day progressed, closing in on the fight for the podium late in the main event. He said, "The day was all right. I ran a limited schedule, and trying to find a motorcycle is sometimes harder than I expected. Mike Butler provided me with an awesome motorcycle. We were just kind of steady and picked at it—that's basically the name of the game for us. We didn't have straight raw speed. But in the main event, I just clicked laps, and those last five or six laps, the bike was working really good. That's one of the only times I ever wished a main event was longer because we were really catching third and fourth." MYOWNRACE The 2025 AFT SuperTwins Championship came down to the final race between these two—Daniels and former champ Briar Bauman.
